{"id":2848,"date":"2019-04-30T01:53:03","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T17:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ickf-kuoshu.org\/?p=2848"},"modified":"2019-04-30T01:58:34","modified_gmt":"2019-04-29T17:58:34","slug":"kuoshu-grading-committee-guidelinesprocedures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ickf-kuoshu.org\/?p=2848","title":{"rendered":"KUOSHU GRADING COMMITTEE GUIDELINES&#038;PROCEDURES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\">\uff08Adopted by the General Assmbly Meeting held on December 31. 2002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This Committee has been formed based on article 5 of the ICKF International Grading System Regulations\uff08\u201dthe Regulations\u201d\uff09.These Guidelines and procedures\uff08\u201dthe Guidelines\u201dor\u201dthese Guidelines \u201c\uff09are issued in accordance with article 8 of the regulations.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 In accordance with article 6 of the regulations, this Committee shall be the highest world authority for the grading of Kuoshu practitioners. All ICKF-Recognised National Federations shall use these Guidelines as a model for establishing their own detailed guidelines and procedures.It is essential that their own guidelines and procedures are to gain the approval of this Committee.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 This Committee will consist of one Chairman, 2 Deputy Chairmen, and between 7 to 11 members who have been appointed in accordance with article 5 of the Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 This Committee will be sub-divided into 4 sections made of committee members\u00a0 as follows\uff1a-<\/p>\n<p>a.Grading Eligibility Section 2 to 4 members<\/p>\n<p>b.Enforcement Section 2 members<\/p>\n<p>c.Research&amp;Development Section\u00a0 2 members<\/p>\n<p>d.Secretarial Section \u00a0a certain number of members with one acting as secretary appointed by the ICKF<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Committee\u2019s Chairman is ultimately responsible for overall organisation, planning and convening of meetings and enforcement of all issues relating to the International Kuoshu Grading System in accordance with the Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The responsibilites of each section are as follows\uff1a-<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Grading Eligibility Section<\/p>\n<p>Approving grading applications\u00a0 provided they satisfy the criteria set out in articles 15 and 18 of the Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Enforcement Section<\/p>\n<p>Administer the Grading examinations and enforcement of all rules enacted by the Committee.<\/p>\n<p>c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Research &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>Study, research and develop different styles and techniques in order to promote Kuoshu throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Secretarial Section<\/p>\n<p>Provide secretarial support to the Committee, record keeping and accounting and other office\/secretarial duties.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Committee will meet, at the request of the Chairmen , at least once a year.Extiaordingary meetings may be called if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 With the approval of the Committee\u2019s Chairman, each section may meet as often as is required to discharge their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chih Grading Examinations may be held by coaches of 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan or above or by any authorized organisation in accordance with articles 15, 16 and 17 of the Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>10.For Tuan Grading Examinations, the candidate will be examined by the appropriate Kuoshu Grading Panel\uff08\u201dthe Panel\u201d\uff09appointed by this Committee as follows\uff1a-<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan<\/p>\n<p>The Panel will consist of 3 or more members of at least 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan. 2 or more of the Panel members must agree to the candidate\u2019s promotion.<\/p>\n<p>b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan<\/p>\n<p>Two-thirds of the Panel must be present and to pass, the candidate must have the approval of 50\ufe6a or more of those Panel members who are present.<\/p>\n<p>c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0tp 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan<\/p>\n<p>two-thirds of the Panel must be present and to pass, the candidate must have the approval of two-thirds or more of those Panel members who are present.<\/p>\n<p>d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Tuan<\/p>\n<p>All members of the Panel must be present and to pass, the candidate must have the approval of 75\ufe6aor more of the Panel\u2019s members.<\/p>\n<p>11.referring to Article 9 of the this Guidelines and procedures,Chi Grading Examinations will be held on a frequent basis\u00a0 by qualified coaches in the training organizations or schools where they coach.<\/p>\n<p>12.Tuan Grading examinations will be held by this Committee generally 1-2 times a year with the procedures as follows\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to announce and accept the requisition for Tuan Grading Examinations 40 days before Examinations.<\/p>\n<p>b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To stop receiving the requisition 30 days before Examinations<\/p>\n<p>c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To Complete exmination 20 days after receiving the requisition, with a letter sent to candidates confirming the results of the exmination.<\/p>\n<p>d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Public announcement regarding successful candidates and conferring the sash\uff08belt\uff09may be made at the same time or at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>13.The grading examination fees inclusive of sash and certificate are as follows\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chih 6 to Chih 1\uff1aUSD\uff0460<\/p>\n<p>b. \u00a0 \u00a0
